In-class Assignment 9/15/16

While walking behind the MUB, these pipes really caught my eye. I liked the vertical pattern of the pipes with the contrasting horizontal pipes above. I found the various textures and colors of the metal boxes, rust, and chipped paint interesting. When I sketched this photo, the shadow of the tree was less prominent, allowing the shadows of the pipes to stand out more. Aside from the difference in lighting, the photo was very similar to the sketch.
